Excellent resistance to oils, to mineral, vegetable and animal fats, to hydrocarbons, gasses and to some types of freon.
Operating temperature: -40 °C / +150 °C - FPM/FKM VITON) (Fluoroelastomer)
Characteristics: Excellent resistance to chemicals, lubricants, heat and flame, exceptional permanent deformation behaviour (compression set). Very good behaviour in the presence of ozone and U.V. rays. The chemicals for which excellent resistance is guaranteed in a wide temperature range are: aliphatic, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons, fuels, mineral and vegetable oils and greases, hydraulic fluids in general.
Operating temperature: -25 °C / +280 °C - SILICONE (Silicone Rubber)
Characteristics: Extreme resistance to high and low temperatures (up to 250° C), preservation of flexibility down to -150° C. Resistance to oxygen and ozone, even at high temperatures. Absence of components that tend to evaporate or release gas. Excellent dielectric characteristics. Resistance to oxidation, hydrolysis, to the effect of many micro-organisms, water and steam, flame, vegetable and animal oils and glycols. Fair chemical resistance. Anallergenic and suitable for use with foodstuff.
